I wasn’t able to go see the car last night, but I wasn’t concerned since the ad had been up for at least a couple weeks. Naturally, someone put a deposit on it last night, and bought it tonight. Oh well, time to find something else. There’s another XC70 I may check out, even the same colour, but it has a plain black interior that I’m not crazy about, and I think no sunroof. I also may just go in a totally different direction...who knows, now that that XC70 is gone I’m really not sure what I’m going for.

As someone who has gone “you know, I guess I don’t need that wagon life yet”, the world is also your oyster. I hope you find something you enjoy.

It’s slowly turning into “that $5k 266k kilometre WRX looks like a great rallycross car” kind of mentality, though, so your mileage may vary.

There’s also this. Much better than the black interior, but for some reason I don’t want AWD if I get a regular V70. If I’m getting  AWD, I want it to be lifted and beefier, so might as well get the XC70

I hope so too, but I’m mainly looking for a good road trip car/DD. I always lean towards wagons, but I don’t honestly need it, so I very well might get a sedan, or *gasp*, a 2 door. But that’s unlikely, I like having 4 doors.

Yeah I’m disappointed. I’m hoping I can find a similar one, ideally with lower miles. I doubt it, but I’ll keep looking

The leather looks like it might be in its way to cracking. But otherwise it looks worth checking out. I think AWD is superfluous, but not a disqualification.

The 1st gen Acura RDX turbo would meet a lot of your needs, fuel economy aside. They’re supposed to be hot hatches with a little more ground clearance for snow and I enjoyed the few minutes I had driving one, it’s very quick and responsive
